Nice beacon shot on the CO express. It's always nice to get out and do what we love!
Grumman Fan...were you on top on the parking garage? That's the only angle I know of that would give these shots...or have you found a new spot???
Nice shots! We all love a good day of spotting!
"lol retart"
I didn't even think about going into the parking garage. I was actually behind the hockey rink. Theres a nice big hill behind it that gives an awesome view.Originally Posted by lijk604

True, but I thought the terminal might get in the way. Good call.Originally Posted by GrummanFan
ALB has a spectator lot near Runway 1.
I got the directions from my good friend from Rhode Island. So, here is the directions to the spectator lot.
From the Interstate, follow the signs to the airport.
As the road crosses the end of the runway, you will see the observation area to the right of the main road. There is a ramp which takes you there.
Hope this helps, :D

The spectator lot is just that...for spectating. If you want to take pics you're better off driving around the airport. Lots of good sights available.
I agree! Actually, I was out at the other side of the airport earlier that dayOriginally Posted by GrummanFan

I like to go to the hockey rink parking lot too. Especially when runway 28 is being used. Every now and then someone will roll out to the end of the runway for you.

Maybe I'll see you out there some time!
