    NYC to Atlanta {Photos Added}

I'm finally taking a trip on the company! However this one's gonna be rough as I meet with my new staff on Wednesday. Should be interesting to say the least.

    LGA-ATL Tuesday, April 3
    DAL 1432 MD88
    Departs: 11:59 AM
    Arrives: 2:35 PM

    ATL-LGA Saturday, April 7
    DAL 9726
    Departs : 4:45 PM
    Arrives : 7:13 PM

I'm hoping to do some spotting at Hartsfield during my down time on Friday and part of Saturday. Would be nice to see some different stuff however I'm sure I'll have a ton of Delta birds flying all over the place!

Thanks to INTENSS for the info for Hartsfield!

If you get a chance at airside spotting, I'd highly recomment the int'l terminal. It's got windows at either end of the concourse that are good for seeing stuff :)

Well, I came back from Delta.....I mean Atlanta on Saturday evening. This is the first chance I'm getting to post. I spent Tuesday through Thursday at work in our Norcross, GA office with my new staff. It was a good meeting but I've got a lot of work bringing a group that doesn't normally work together TO work together!
I stayed the weekend as my oldest brother lives in the Atlanta area. We were going to go to the Mets-Braves game on Friday night, but they were sold out and with the weather what it was, which was really cold for Atlanta standards, we went to a bar and watched the game. Naturally I was wearing some Mets atire so you can image how that went!
Anyway, I did some spotting off airport on Friday morning. It was Delta heaven! But I'll start out with two from LGA on Tuesday morning and end with some ATL shots in the terminal in Saturday afternoon.

In the Short Term Parking lot. I couldn't park in Long Term, it was closed at 9AM! Unreal. But it was on the company dime, so it worked out in the end!

Briefly in the Delta Terminal in LGA

ATL-I was in a cemetary if you can believe that when I took these!

On the way to Turner Field I saw this sign.

Here a few from Terminal A in ATL

I didn't get a chance to go to the International Terminal but I saw some nice aircraft. I was too late to photograph a Champion 727 just getting airborne, so I just watched with pleasure as it took off...And that was it, I flew home in a Delta MD88. So much for my first trip with my new division and finally some off LGA-JFK spotting. I'll be ready for my next trip to ATL and this time I'll have time to contact Airport Security to get into the parking area where there is some really great spotting!
