The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
Yeah, I didn't assume it was... ;)
Why was the army in the terminal Derf?
Overall, very good shots everybody!
nwa FOREVER!
Great shots Mario!
Question, what was Air Tahiti Nui doing in so early and parked on a harstand at T4?
Thanks. Hey, anytime I can catch a glimpse of those Tahitian waters, I'm not complaining! LOL
Fred, what can I say, I always enjoy your pics!!

that's the national guard, and they are posted in the airports and train terminals to assist with security. they're there every day.
i hate those new uniforms!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
In one of these threads, someone mentioned that Monday's A380 still has a UPS logo among the various airline logos on the side. In looking at my photos (for a thread on the jp.net forum) I noticed something strange - look under the AF logo on the right. Who the hell is Kingfisher Airlines, and what the hell will they be doing with an A380 :?:

Interesting! After looking at their website (I know, Google is my friend) I now know more about Kingfisher then I ever imagined. Although geography in that part of the world isn't my strongest field, it looks like they fly primarily domestic Indian flights, and started operations in May 2005. I assume they are looking at the A380 for high-density, short-haul operations.
I did enjoy the "Chairman's Address":
Should be interesting...Welcome aboard Kingfisher Airlines!
I am often referred to as the ‘King of Good Times’ and I truly believe that you should share this experience with me.
...
Aboard every Kingfisher Funliner you will meet a crew that I have hand-picked myself. I have also personally approved their rigorous training programme. Quite apart from this, I have devoted a lot of personal time and energy in ensuring that Kingfisher Airlines is truly world-class in every sense.
...
I have tried very hard to build an airline that meets your expectations. However, if I have missed something or fall short of your expectations, please feel free to mail me directly at [email protected].

Yes, well everyone chimed in already, Kingfisher is an airline serving India with 320's and ATRs. Then all of a sudden, they leapt into megalarge planes....
Kingfisher...the name ranks right up there with Yangtze River Express Airlines!!

I believe Kingfisher has intentions of starting flights to JFK with the A340-500 or the A380 after they start SFO.
Any one else notice that Qantas is missing?

Great shots guys!
Bet the local cops were saying "move along-nothing to see here!)
"my finger on the shutter button, while my eye is over my shoulder"
I made the remark yesterday that there were a hundred-odd photographers out on the side of the runway, and no one was hassled by the police! Try that on any other day...Originally Posted by FlyingColors
