I missed most of the poeple as I could not cordinate w ith Matt or anyone too well today. My shots got cut off towards the tail. I wanted to watch more than shoot though. On her second visit I will take care of the shooting. Amazing stuff guys. Oh and Celmer, where the heck did you peel off to!?

Here are two I've processed (from N. Woodmere Park):
After a bunch of back-and-forth with JetPhotos, I got the second accepted here, with the other photo (well, a slightly different version than that) rejected as Underexposed, but I hit my queue limit for today so that's it for now.

Great shots everyone. The switch over to 22L was ideal as the lighting was a bit better for that time of day. Here are 2 of my shots....

We were at the media event today....though unfortunately, they set us up for the most perfect BACKLIT photos! Oh well, it was a great experience. You guys had some fantastic shots. :)
On touchdown
Grabbing every last shot that I could...Phil took this one of me :-D
I thought that this was pretty cool:
(Phil took these too....he had the short lens)
Look at the turnout!!!! Some guy from Bloomberg joked that it was worse than fashion week. haha
Was out with Phil, Melanie, Fred, Futt & Josh with the media gaggle.
Waiting with much anticipation:
On final:
Touchdown!

It was a great day - the weather was just about perfect, the photo opportunities were excellent, and we got to witness a little bit of history. This isn't about Airbus vs. Boeing, or any of the other hundred arguments surrounding this jet. There aren't too many "firsts" left in aviation, and we saw one today.

I look forward to spotting again with you guys. I will post my photos tomorrow.
Love the shots Mel, Phil, and Mike. I especially like the last A380 shot you got Phil of it turning off of the runway.
Was the press conference held at the Lufthansa lounge at Terminal 1?

The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
That's because it's not in Air France colorsOriginally Posted by GrummanFan

I was at Woodmere, managed three shots of the approach, then the battery died for side shots! Dang nabit!
So here is one I scored when they pushed WWJB off the gate at Terminal One!
