Does anyone know the A380's flight path for tomorrow? More specifically, will it be flying over Northeastern Pennsylvania? I'd love to go to NYC tomorrow to see it, but I can't because of school

I think you're out of luck on that one.

Most European arrivals come down the eastern seaboard and cross Long Island or do a straight approach into JFK. No PA. Sorry! :(

I understand that the aircraft will stop at T1, but during one of its overnight stays, it will be at a T4 hardstand.

Sorry to start a rumor, but it's what I heard.

Do we know which runway is favourite for tomorrow?

    Hi folks,

On my way down from Rhode Island to catch this historic event!

Anyone know which runway is the most likely to be used? Which viewing point I should make my way to for the better photos?

On Tuesday the A380 is supposed to fly to Chicago! Quite possibly it may fly over your area enroute to/from ORD!!

    Hope that helps!

Well, i'm in High School in Southeastern Michigan, near Ann Arbor.

Senga; my only hope is if it makes a tech stop at KOZW (Livingston Co.) we have a new ILS system, any hopes of getting Airbus to consider a short stop? :D Heck, our runway at 100x5002 probably couldn't even hold it!

With that, people, please keep in mind that even if all other traffic were to land on 31L/R, they might send her on the other runway anyway.

Keep your scanners tuned! What's the freq for NY Approach?

Over Jericho today, I looked south and saw a big white 4 engined bird lumbering towards us. I thought I was seeing the A380 a day early!!! As she got closer, I realized it was Air China

    I'm still a newbie spotter
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I am betting you are correct Phil.

Doesn't T1 hit full capacity at some point in the afternoon? Or nearly so? I think so.

That would've been kind of funny (in a way) actually.
