I'm guessing everyone will be a little happier today when they take a look at the latest forecast for Monday. Rain/crap is out.....current forecast is partly cloudy....let's hope this sticks.

I'm seeing "chance of showers after 2pm", but it's definitely an improvement from "showers noon-3pm". If the weather promises to be good enough, my girlfriend might come along for it too.Originally Posted by INTENSS

Guys, let's talk runways.
If they are landing on the 31, will it come on left or right?
If they arelanding on the 4s, either are ok from Bayswater I assume.
If they are landing on the 22s, which one and where to shoot from at noon? Mounds still I assume.
Email me anytime at [email protected].
I might be heading there after school, but do you guys think it will be worth it? The only way I'd be able to see it would be to take the airtrain around in hopes of seeing her. Do you guys think thats worth it?

Can anyone confirm that info?
I would hope JFK ops and Airbus would take that advice and only consider 22L/4R, but who knows...

Will she park at Terminal One or at Terminal 4 ? She is due to land tomorrow, March 19 between 12:30 and 13:00 but could be delayed if she must use a specific runway assignment.
I would be at North Woodmere Park for a 22 arrival early in the day. You probably won't get good sun from the Mounds. I was out there this morning - got some nice shots of a C-17 coming in on 22R.Originally Posted by Phil D.

The flight number will be LH 8940. I wasn't aware that only 22L/4R have the needed 200' width. I thought the other runways had also been widened. Regarding the arrival at LAX, it will be operated by Qantas but it's unclear if it's coming from Frankfurt or Sydney.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/cus ... ines-spaceSo at 9:30 a.m., one of two inaugural U.S. test flights is scheduled to touch down at LAX from Toulouse, about the same time a second aircraft will land at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport from Frankfurt, Germany.

22L works for me. Less hassle at North Woodmere Park anyway.
The thing that will suck is that if we are at N. Woodmere, and they decide to send him to 31L or 31R we're sunk. I'll check back later today to see where the crew plans on being.
Just checked NOAA for JFK Terminal Forecast

Winds 240 @ 9 kts...although 9 knots is nothing too significant, it would be nice for the aircraft to have a basic headwind. :) Maybe 22L will happen.
I can tell you all are geeked for this! Do me a favor and take a pic to show how many people are there waiting for it to arrive.
nwa FOREVER!
I think that can be arranged.Originally Posted by nwafan20
