My new toy (Sigma 70-200 f/2.8)

Just got this delivered (used) today:

I've played around with it a bit and I already love it; nice and sharp even at f/2.8. The only thing I don't like is that it's not white, but I think I'll learn to deal with that :P Of course, it helps a lot that I got it for quite a bit less than even a used Canon 70-200 f/2.8L :D

Now, I just need it to warm up outside so that I go out and use it!

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

It certainly is quite a big lens. I got it for $550 shipped, but I'm splitting some of cost with my girlfriend so "my share" is a little less.

Now, for those of you who have used either lens, what would you reccomend, the Canon 70-300 IS, or this?

That's the way it was shipped, but even if it weren't, one would end up on there anyway since I just switch them around as I swap lenses.
