how long has China Air been using the 747 to JFK? I flew them to/from Taipei via Anchorage twice back in 2002 and it was on the A340 and A330

I remember seeing a China Airlines A340-300 at JFK back in 2003 but I believe the switch to the 747-400 was made in 2004 or early 2005.

The 747-400 has flown the route before as I remember seeing one back in 1998 from the top of the Terminal 3 parking garage.

Are you sure it was on the A330-300? As far as I know the A330-300 has never flown to JFK.
