First flight in a while is a short one...not faster than the bus to where I'm going, but less boring and only slightly more expensive.

BTV-White River Junction, VT on Greyhound

    9/28
White River Junction, VT to NYC on Dartmouth Coach
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

    10/31- MCI-HRO-MEM: Seaport Air, Pilatus PC-12.
    11/01- MEM-ATL-STL: AirTran, 717
11/02- STL-IRK-STL: Cape Air, Cessna 402C (Vacation was supposed to end at IRK but no one could pick me up, no complaints from me!)
    11/02- STL-MCI Southwest, 737

All just for fun. Treating myself to a spotter's vacation, on the cheap. Total airfare bill was less than $500.
