Re: Your upcoming trips, Biz or Fun

I just booked my West coast trip for January.

Flying out on 1/12 from LGA via DEN to LAX. Flying Frontier on an A319 then an A318.

Flying back from PHX on the red-eye on 1/20 on AirTran on a 73G connecting onto a B717.

    Approx. 3hrs layover each way!

Driving from LAX via Kingman, down to Tucson and back to PHX.

Anyone interested in joining me is more than welcome!

    Jesus, Will!

That is a lot of traveling to do in such a short period of time, I envy you. Thanks for supporting SkyBus and SWF. ;)

Out of curiosity what is the purpose of the trip to Dubai? I'd love to go there sometime.

I guess all the traveling is one of the perks of waiting a year before going off to college, eh? :borat:

Yes, it's crazy and all begins in two weeks!

It's weird how it all happened--FCO was because of the AF fare mistake, one of the MCO trips is for work (the other for family), DXB because NW also had a fare mistake, SkyBus because I wanted to fly on them before I left and for $36.30 I couldn't argue, and the mileage run because it works out to 3 cents a mile and then I get a bonus mileage on the DXB trip plus the perks. If someone told me I would be doing all of this flying I would have called them crazy.

I've wanted to go to DXB for a number of years now and everything just fell into place in terms of price and schedule.

By the way, I start school in February (they then since they're in the southern hemisphere and our winter is the beginning of their fall).

Early December me and Nicole are going to fly down to Atlanta for a Thrashers Rangers game. right now it looks like we are going to just fly US via CLT but when we get closer I may just go Delta direct depending on what flights are looking like.

I didn't know United was still running a 777 back and forth between IAD and DEN...I used to take those to DEN on occasion. The first time was an accident...I was supposed to change in ORD, but they cancelled my flight to ORD, and had me go through IAD instead. And they put me in business class on the 777 because coach was full. Good times...I should post about it in the airline meal thread.

I've decided to change my itinerary by extending my trip home next week. I'll be staying 5 extra days; this way, I'll get to photograph the A380 at my home airport. It was only $32.00 to change the itinerary, so, I figured I'd go for it! Here are my flights:

    Nov. 20, 2007

    EWR-LAX
    AA 119
    B757-200

    Dec. 1, 2007

    LAX-JFK
AA 4 (now dubbed "The Josh May Express" ...I think I've been on this flight about 30x :P )
    B767-200

    YAYY! :D

How did it only cost you $32 to change your trip? AA charges a change fee ontop on the difference in the fares.
