I have to come to New York next weekend to sign some papers for an apartment I hope to rent, so, it's gonna be a quickie! I also decided to have a bit of fun with free ticket-ness from SWA and will go down to D.C. and stay a night to visit my friends and have (wx pending) a day of spotting at IAD before I fly back to LAX for 11 days....then, I'll be headed back to NYC for 4 months...I haven't even booked my ticket for that one way trip yet! :P But here's my schedule for next weekend:

Sat Aug 11: LAX-MDW, MDW-ISP [Southwest Airlines]
Mon Aug 13: NYP-WAS (New York Penn Station to Washington Union Station) [Amtrak Acela Express]
Tues Aug 14: IAD-MDW, MDW-LAX [Southwest Airlines]

I hope it'll be worth leaving the sunny beaches of SoCal :D

Next Tuesday I am going to CHS for most of the day with my mother and my sister. They are going down for the week though. It is a two fold trip for them. My sisters boyfreind is graduateing from basic and I particularly can give a rats ass about it so I am going to bee line back to NY after I fly in and my mother and father are intrested in buying some more property particularly on the South Carolina or Georgia coast so she is going down there to look around for two days than drive over to the base with my sister. I am going just to go down there and come home than probably home to go to sleep. I might well come back down the following week after my dad arrives though. He shares the same sentiments for the most part that I do about my sisters boyfreind :evil: :evil: so to him it is big whooptie doo. He is more intrested in the property himself down there.

Did part of the trip I was going to do. CHS fell apart so CLT became the objective. Than that fell to peices from NY so I went to DCA with the fam or at least part of it, put them on the bird to CLT and than turned around to come home to NY. It worked great in the end. We flew to DCA, got off and at the gate next to us they had just began boarding a CLT flight slightly earlier than the planned flight. Dumped em off on that flight went to the LGA gate just as they began to board it and jumped on back for NY.
