A couple more on the way but here's what I've gotten so far...

    -- $$
-- Beavis and Butthead DVD set which includes every episode plus Beavis and Butthead Do America
    -- iTunes gift card
    -- Starbucks gift card
    -- Winning scratch-off lottery ticket ($2!!!)
-- I also got something at work that was really lame, but the wrapping paper was really neat. The gift was an ugly candle that looks like the Jesus candles you'll see for 99 cents in a bodega, but instead of Mary or Jesus, it has stuff about good luck for making money on it. The good part is the guy wrapped it in real stock certificates from now defunct companies, Penn Central Railroad, Penn Sulfur, and PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRLINES. The Pan Am ones were savable, the others were in unfixable condition and I threw them away. I think I can get one of the Pan Am certificates to frameable condition.

Here are the gifts I got for others. I like to give practical/meaningful gifts, but I was swamped with work this month and had little time for shopping, even online, so a lot of people got gift cards that I purchased at my local CVS.
    -- Mom: Kohl's gift card
    -- Dad: Marriott gift card
-- Brother: American Musical Supply gift card
-- Friend: Replica vintage Gary Carter Mets jersey
    -- Friend: Nip/Tuck, seasons 2 and 3
-- Friend + Wife: Gadget that chills beverages really really fast, plus a Home Depot gift card
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Since I got the rest of my stuff. I'll post my model photos as well.
The only one I already had and you'll see it in the background of a few photos is Nevada.

Holy moly, there are our kitties again!

Well, with our first baby on final ;), been getting baby stuff,

-a baby book about cars trains and planes
-a solid wooden bi-plane to build, paint and assemble for baby.
-gift certificate to Smith and Wollensky YUMMYYYYYYYYY!!!
-a book on taking better photos
-a night at the W Union Square in Manhattan and tickets to ...the Drowsy Chaperone
-lotsa lotsa bottles of wine and champagne
    -Chanukah gelt
    -a nice new shirt
    -Cockpits calendar
    -Waterfalls moving picture
-chandelier (can you tell we are still readying the house?)
    -$$$

...so I didnt get lots aviation-wise but what I did get was wild. I mean the cockpit Calendar is way old school, lots of WW2 cockpits in there. And the biplane for build for the baby, I mean, that's wild. Whether boy or girl, the imprinting has begun.

What's weird is that I *think* I want models, but when I get them...they just take up room. That's weird but I think I'm at a weird point in my life. I'd love an Hogan model but would rather have a round trip somewhere :)

Hope you all are enjoying the holidays!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
