Gorgeous shot, Eric.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

That first shot is eye candy extreeeeme! Setting sun, Gradient in the sky that it shows, the pinks on the right and perfect exposure. It looks like it is not level tho but nothing a little post processing can not handle. Great Capture.
The second shot lacks the punch of the first shot, the mid levels look a little bland, this shot may be much better as a non hdr (Please do not tell anyone I said that!)
Your certainly blessed with a great eye

OVER the top HDRs - These are amazing an proof that it can work!

Wow theres some amazing shots there! Some are hard to believe they're real.Originally Posted by Derf

Are all those shots he posted HDR or are they even all supposed to be? It seems like a lot of them may just be single exposure tone-mappers (especially the ones with people since they would create ghosting in the image). In any event, great find! I'd love to get a copy of that program he uses, seems pretty dang powerful.
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
It look like he is doing a 1 shot RAW and then converting it. He uses Photomatix like I do and he goes into how he processes it. With photomatix and practice, it is easy to get his results but hard to get his consistency.
It helps that the link below shows his entire workflow so you can do the same thing....Woops, was I not suppose
to say that? :borat:

Two new ones
One processed just enough to make it still look like a photo:
One over the top processed, but I think it works in this case...and the "ghosted" people make the picture dynamic, not static.
John, I was just looking at these on facebook, nicely done!
fresh off the press....finally got to shoot a Piaggio all lit up. Critiques are more than welcome!
threw in a shot of a little area of our new lobby at CDW as well

I like the second Pilatus shot better...first one is too saturated, and there is a lot of CA on all the white edges (paper on yoke, in the dash holder, etc). The first one also looks a tab blurry on the pilot's CB panel. The second one is a lot sharper and the colors look much better.
