Peter Max was in from NRT yesterday and I saw it when departing hiding out in the hangar. Not sure if we count that a rare visitor?

Nope, A/C 14 is in EWR almost every day. It is more rare in IAH. It is tended to be routed to EWR more often since it is the NYC 2000 livery which is due to be painted over in normal livery next year.

That's been said for the past 3 years now.
Perhaps this is the one.

Apparently it's very true, Mike. N77014 is supposed to go in for a D check in late December and will be repainted.

No idea why but the AI 777 old colors that flew into EWR tonight repositioned over to JFK and the AI 777 new colors came to EWR from JFK around 8 pm.

Did you get the pictures on the first approach or the second after the go-around?

Mike, the second time. I'm glad they went around because I had no idea they were bringing the new colors in. But I'm not thrilled with how they came out, pretty hazy out there today. Oh well.
