I got to see VP-BDJ in a unique light this morning - I was heading to the office after dropping my car off for a service. There is a big ladies golf tournament this week at Trump International Golf Club here in West Palm Beach. Sitting at a traffic light - all quiet - next thing - VP-BDJ comes over at 1000ft doing fly pasts over the golf club - very nice!. Unforatunately - I didn't have my camera.

Is everything OK with VPBDJ? It looks like it disappeared off the coast of Florida shortly after takeoff.

    I hope all is OK.

A lot of times, when a plane is over the Atlantic, is can't be tracked properly by the trackers. He'll pop up again as he gets closer.

It looks like VP-BDJ did have some modifications done while at PSM. Notice the new gold trim along the door and emergency window exit.

I taxied very close to VP-BDJ Tuesday at LGA aboard a US 734 and I was really surprised up close how shabby she looked. That trim might have been added at PSM but there certainly was not any painting or polishing done, she is due !

ron, why didn't you ask the FA if you could open the door and run out there just to touch it?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

On her way back to LGA ETA 1042 on the Sunny cold morning. Look at all the flying the olde girl did in the last 24 hours in conjunction with the Super Bowl !
