One of the perks of where I went to school (Stevens Tech) is that students can volunteer to help out with the inflation of the balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade; some, like myself, keep doing it even after we graduate. This morning (Oct. 7) was one of the training/refresher days, where everyone goes through the whole process of inflating a ballon, setting up the vehicles, and operating it (the balloon handlers also come out for this part). This time, I remembered to bring along a camera, and took some photos:

On a more aviation-related note, the winds this morning meant that planes at Teterboro were coming in on final right over the Meadowlands, where we were. Lots of bizjets coming in; I wasn't able to get any pics, though, given the poor light and P&S camera I was using today.
