DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2006--In celebration of its first anniversary, MAXjet Airways, the industry's first low-fare, all-business-class transatlantic airline, is making it more affordable for luxurious travel to London with an unbelievable fare sale of only $999 round trip from either New York JFK or Washington Dulles to London Stansted.(a) Tickets must be booked between September 19 and October 1, 2006 for travel anytime between November 1, 2006 and February 28, 2007.

For a J fare, its not a bad fare.

Hows it compare to current EOS fares?

Having said that, nothing beats the fare of a non-rev direct AA flight JFK_LHR
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

How about a $6 non-rev upgrade to First Class on a TWA L-1011 JFK-DEN. I'd kill for a chance at that again!

Why did they even bother charging $6?

A sample trip on Eos leaving November 12 and returning November 14 came up $1,475 each way.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Not sure, just airline policy - it was back in the late-70's, we flew free in Coach, for First, it was $6 domestic, $10 coast-to-coast or international.
