EWR/SJU/SXM Recap (A lot of Pics!)

Alright, so here is my photo recap of my recent trip to Puerto Rico with a short hop to St. Marteen for a day.

My trip started with EWR since it was my departure airport. I was very occupied there with a lot of Continental birds and took a lot of photos. I was flew on a wingleted 757-200 in the emergency exit row which made the flight very enjoyable. The next day I woke up early in the morning for an 8:00 American Eagle flight to SXM. The ATR trip was a pleasant one and in no time I was flying over Maho Beach. I had an awesome time in SXM, I spent all day on Maho watching each plane land and take off. I took photos and some videos with my video camrea. I ended up being caught behind the Corsair 747-400 departure and oh my god, you have no idea how powerful the blast is! After the KLM 747 arrival I headed back to the terminal for my flight and spotted from the terminal and watched the Air France A340-300 take off as well as the KLM 747-400 which rotated right when I was boarding my ATR. I spent Saturday at the AeroParque in SJU and was delighted to see the Iberia A340-300. I also spotted yesterday for some time. When I arrived at EWR today I was pretty extatic to see the TAP A330-200 and Singapore A340-500.

Oh yeah, I spotted Canyon Blue twice at SJU!

So here are my photos, sorry that there are so many!

It goes SJU, SXM, and then EWR.

Those are really great pictures. Good job. By the way, I think you should get an award for the longest first post in a thread. :D

    Gordon, those are awesome!

In particular, I have to comment on a few.

The Canyon Blue with the Dc3 tucked back there...awesome :)

The business jet with the forest in the foreground... I love it! Such a reminder to take in the Geshalt! Dont lose the forest for the trees! love it!

The Copa, very cool! Never saw one.

The AA 767 with the piano keys reflecting off? Brilliant!

    Thanks for sharing.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    Absolutely gorgeous pictures.

For a second when you said Canyon Blue the SWA in me was thinking don't you mean SJC, then realized you meant B6 hehe.

    Glad your trip went great.

Thanks a lot guys! I had an awesome time, I can't wait to go back to SXM soon. I'll be back in San Juan in October probably, also can't wait to get back to the Aeroparque!

Here's a shot of the KLM departing:
