    Reuters Retracts War Photo

Not aviation related, but a lesson in photography:

Worst clone job ever. This guy blamed it on dust spots. I call bull****.

Wow...that's pathetic. Dust spots IN the smoke? I LOVE when there are clouds or dark objects in my photos because they camouflage dust spots. What a tool.

Here's the updated photograph posted by Reuters.

Seriously though, they found another manipulated photo by the same guy. Supposedly they're removing all this guy's photos from their database.

The caption on this one said this Israeli F16 was dropping bombs in Lebanon. Of course these are not bombs, but defensive flares. And actually only one defensive flare, duplicated twice in Photoshop. Look closely at the smoke trails and they are identical.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Your right Phil, not as easy as cloning out poles at LAX.
