It was a really great time. The Charles Park angles were amazing, and we had a great turnout with lots of out-of-town friends.

It's Monday night and I'm still exhausted from the sunburn. I woke up this morning looking like a Thanksgiving turkey on my bicep and a frozen Butterball on my shoulder.

Ok ok....I only had time to edit a couple shots, but that's more than I've had in over a month so here:

This is my shot of the day...I barely had to edit it at all

Phil let me get MaxJet, though the light was ****....birdy decided to pose too

Ech, ugly mess of colors...not too bad of a shot though

    Here's an angle I've never gotten before...and a plane going to Tommy's homeland ;)

Other shots from the day...whole mess of spotters, most from out of town, with our neighborhood's finest in the background

Last but not least...Futt's neck, after nuclear attack - ouch.

Here are just a few from my 14 hours of spotting.

Starting with the first shot of the day.

And the last shot of the day.

It was a great time hanging out with everyone. Probably one of the best days spotting at JFK.

Wow, Eric you got some great shots! I love the shot of the Iberia and Qantas. I happened to see EC-JOH when I arrived yesterday morning in MAD and I got to watch VH-OEF taxiing out for 31L.

Mel, I love the shot of the Aer Lingus!!

Thanks Brian for the comments, I managed to get some more shots of TF-FIR but through an extremley dirty window as it was parked at Gate 2 which does not have the cleanest of windows. I am not quiet sure of what time it landed since I arrived at Terminal 7 around 6:30 and was eating around 6:45 so it must have landed between that time because when I got to the spot where I took the photo from it was waiting for a gate.

Few more. To my disappointment, a lot of my earlier shots were severely top lit and no good.

No soccer nose on this one, oh well...

Gonna try for both Anet and JP...don't have super high hopes, but since I finally have some upload material, I might as well go for it, eh? ;)

Hey guys Justin and I just got in from JFK. First off I'd like to thank Josh and Brian for taking us around all day, and telling us how to get to our apartment, without their help, Sunday would have pretty much sucked for us. I'd also like to thank everyone else that was out there that day. That really was my best day of spotting I've ever had. I was extremely lucky that day, not only was the weather perfect, but I managed to catch 6 beacons and 2 strobes, thats gotta be a sign right???? Along with all the heavies, that 2-3 oclock hour was truly amazing, I really had a blast.

Thanks to Justin I will have full non-rev benefits starting in late July, so hopefully, I will be around a lot more.

I'll post up some links once I get through all of my pics.

P.S. Don't worry about the last name Mel

I'd like to chime in right now to express my continuing gratitude towards all those who came out on June 11th. I had an amazing time. I added several new airlines to my collection and got some great lit shots of airlines I needed improved shots of. You guys are the best! What a great group of people you all are! If any of you all ever come to MCO or TPA, let me know. I'd be glad to show any one of you all around my turf sometime. We'll be sure to do it again soon! Thanks again!

    Shots to come later!
