4 Dead In Southern N.J. Plane Crash
(CBS/AP) STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. Four people are dead today after a small plane crashed in a wooded area of Stafford Township.

Captain Charles Schweigart said wreckage of the single-engine Piper was found off Route 72 east of the Garden State Parkway.

All of the dead were onboard the plane.

Jim Peters, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, said the plane was registered to Aviron Aviation, in North Plainfield.

But no further details were available.
