SAA Best Airline Based in Africa

South African Airways (SAA) has been voted the Best Airline Based in
Africa at the Official Airline of the Year Awards held in the UK. This is the
sixth consecutive time that SAA has taken this award.

Other awards presented to SAA this year include Best African Airline
and Best International airline for 2005 at the annual Diners Club Asata
(Association of Southern African Travel Agents) Awards.

Ghana Airways
Egypt Air
TAAM
LIM-Mocambique
Air Tanzania

not trying to be sarcastic, but, ASATA judges all airlines in Africa - the other countries in Africa do not have such awards, so, no, it wasn't rigged.

EDIT: ASATA has quite regularly snubbed the national airline when it comes to these awards as well!
