With the show almost a month away I wanted to start some chat about who's going, FRG, etc, etc. Also curious if anyone else is planning to attend any other airshows on the East coast this summer?

i'm definately going. buddy of mine is on sean tucker's support team, so it's a bit obvious as to where i'll be.
sad news though, since sean crashed his chellenger he's going to be performing in a columbia 400 until his challenger is rebuilt...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I agree with you, I'm happy he will be performing though, Happy he's ok!

My plan right now is go to FRG the first day and the beach on the second day. I hoping the public will opt to do the opposite. The meet and greet with the Blue Angels is a lot of fun for the kids.

I think I will do the reverse!!! Everyone will be there sunday as the word of mouth from Saturdays show gets around and will be shown on the news..... I want to go both days, but probably will do Farmingdale on Satuday unless the weather will be questionable. You can see me standing on my truck to look over the fence!Originally Posted by Jonesbeach

i think this is a good time to buy my step ladder ;)
Yeah the crowds are always horribe on Sunday. Saturday I'll be at the beach all day, and Sunday ill be at FRG, regardless of when my employer schedules me to work! I'll be on the roof of my truck as well :D
Shoot first, ask questions later.

When is it?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Well I'll be there bright and early with Fred, god help me. I'm hoping my lens is back from Canon service by then, otherwise I'll have to look to rent something. Lets try and get a good group together and represent NYCA!!
The Blue Angels will be performing on the weekend (27-28 ) but... The American Airpower Museum will have static aircraft and possibly some flight demonstrations from Friday the 26 till monday the 29... :)
it's too bad none of you will have the chance of having dinner with the Blue angels......
Ah that's alright while your eating we'll be on the ramp getting pics, LOLOriginally Posted by KLM777
dinner with the blues? that's nothing compared to tucker's post-airshow parties in SNS! people fly in just for that, like a nice classic sabre-liner. talk about a good time!!
oh yea, the blues are cool guys too. got to go drinkin with thier support crew in MRY last year.
