    N742PS Update !

Surprisingly N742PS has been maintaining her planned routings all week on the Shuttle. Between Sunday and tonight (Wednesday) she has visited LGA 9 times. She was supposed to leave the Shuttle after tonight but do to another 319 crapping out the plan has changed and NYCAviation's photographer's may get some more photo ops. Ship 742 will now stay on the Shuttle Thursday and Friday plus a mid day Mainline turn on Sunday !

    Thursday she is due in at 0800, 1400, and 2000 departing at 0900, 1500, and 2100 !
Friday she is due in at 1100 and 1700 and departing at 1200 and 1800. !
Sunday she is due in at 1300 and out at 1455. As always these routing's are subject to change !

For those of you happy with US's choice to do the PSA RetroJet I invite you to listen to Doug Parker's weekly message 1-800-873-2459 prompt 4. This will only be there till Friday when a new msg will replace it. Doug's enthusiasm about the RetroJet is so refreshing, not the type of Airline CEO I am accustomed to !

    Cheers

As I was driving home yesterday evening getting off the LIE to the Clearview, I looked up in the sky and from afar thought I was actually seeing the Pink Song...when I realized it was too stubby to be a 757, I started squinting (all while trying to negotiate rush hour traffic) and finally realized it was the PSA! I was so excited to have seen it randomly like that, even though I saw it a couple times last weekend already. I can't wait for the other schemes.

    Ditto, Phil.

Tomorrow's weather also looks promising, so I may try to get out for the 2pm arrival since I get out of school at 1. If anybody planning to go out for it as well, let me know, because I can use a ride. :)

Do you know if those LGA departures are going to BOS or DCA?

As of Thursday evening N742PS will be taking a day off from LGA on Sat 4-8 to go down to SDQ and back but now she will be back on the Shuttle Sunday-Tues 4-9 thru 4-11. And by then we can start watching for N745VJ which should be leaving the paint shop on Sunday night 4-9. I will be off Fri-Sat and will not have access to routing's until 1300 Sunday. Will update then !

    Cheers

I know the PSA RetroJet is sort of old news due to her very frequent visits to LGA but if anyone still is looking for photo ops she is staying on the Shuttle 2 more days (aircraft routing has been very, very good to LGA).

    Monday 4-10 Arr 0800 Dep 0900 Arr 1400 Dep 1500 Arr 2000 Dep 2100
Tuesday 4-11 Arr 1100 Dep 1200 Arr 1700 Dep 1800 Same as today.

After that showing back on the Shuttle on Friday !

As always routings are subject to change !

    Cheers

    Ron,
When is the Pacemaker retrojet scheduled to debut?
Are they planning to put a proper name on the nose?
