    Air Canada E190s at JFK??

Ok I did a search and didn't see us discuss this so how did we miss Air Canada starting E190 service at JFK to Calgary? According to ACs schedule they are running once a day service to YYC departing JFK at 8:00am and arriving JFK at 6:59PM.

They have been servicing JFK for several weeks now :) I'd rather go to JFK to get them than LGA

Wow that's a long flight on a little plane. :(
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

As I stated in a thread earlier our mechanics have alredy been over to Air Canadas E190 a couple of times. I believe the 190 has been here about a month. It replaced the airbus on that route. I guess we are now the experts in 190 repairs.

It started the beginning of March and it's a new route, not replacing the A319. The A319 is on the JFK-YVR run. The new E190 route is JFK-YYC.

Selecting jetblue at jfk to do mx is a no-brainer, you're right. it woud be a long flight down south to have Copa do it :)

It might be a long flight on a small plane but with the AVOD system which is now up and running plus those huge windows I know I would not be bored !
