Guys, I found a new love.

I dunno but I feel while I got a lot accomplished in my 20s, I misseed out on a lot.

IN college andafterwards, I played soccer, rowerd Crew and even didsome fencing. But then became relatively in-active.

Enter winter sports. been wanting to snowboard for 10 years but never got around to i. yesterday was my 2nd time and it was TERRIFIC.

Aside from 2 nasty falls I took on my left butt cheek (I felt like HIroshima in my left butt cheek,... I layed still 30 seconds, then got up and going again,. 10 seconds later,
    BAM,

Nagasaki in my butt. I didnt thin kI was getting up. BUt I did and did much better,

I Love snowboarding and feel greato t be getting into another active sport in my 30's

Is anyone else here into it? I jsut cant wait for next winter!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Ok Mario's typing is back, AHAHAHA

I hate snowboarding, sking and generally any winter sport! The first time I went snow boarding my buddies said "oh we'll teach you." The lesson consited of me straping on the snowboard and my buddy pushing me down this small hill near the lodge. As I gained speed I realized I didn't know how to stop and was heading for a rather large woman who I plowed into and knocked her off her feet. LOL Since then I refuse to go snowboarding or sking!

that reminds me of my first time on rollerblades. not being able to stop and blading on nyc's finest streets. plowing into mario at every intersection. thanks mario!

and sorry I didn't have a camera to get any shots of mario on his snowboard. the little girl he plowed into haunted him for the rest of the day. we saw her and HER FATHER everywhere :)

im glad you enjoy it mario. i haven't boarded in about 6 years now, no longer can because of the condition my knees are in. if they ever get better you know i'll be back on the baord terrorizing sugarbush and stowe!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Last night Mario attempted to talk me into going snowboarding with him next season. My very prompt response was NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!! I've gone 165mph on bike once or twice or about 100 times, lol, destroyed any chances of me having kids from jumping waves on a Wave-runner, bugee jumped off of a bridge with solid rock under me, but my days of attempting to snow board are DONE! I'll watch you from the comfort of the bar at the lodge.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, even if you are a snowboarder... jk

I'm living in Colorado right now, and try to get up to the mountains up here every weekend. It's amazing! You should definately think about a trip out here if you really start getting into it and wanna ski the good stuff.
