    Black and White Photos

I filled a phoot order this afternoon for three Air Tran 717s. It was the first time I ever had someone ask for a black and white. They were 8x10s, and they came out pretty damn good if I may say so myself.

You folks ever do B&W work? What editing techniques do you use for them?

I've done a few with my new D200. Mainly baby photos. No editing needed, the D200 has a B&W mode :)

Good job on the 8x10's sale...

i did b&w but not of aircraft as yet. that last few i won't even show on this site (sorry guys... for my eyes only.) ;)

b&w shots always looked a lot more dramatic to me, don't know why really. it's hard to explain...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

my camera can shoot in B&W too, yet for some reason the qulity takes a major dive for the worse when i shoot in B&W, so if i ever want B&W i just turn it to B&W in an edit. This happen to anyone else?
Two wrongs might not make a right, but three rights make a left!
