I was on one of my "whirlwind" trips headed back to NY on Thursday evening, and was in the CLT club chatting with the manager and one of my "club angels", when who walks up behind me but Doug Parker, CEO of US Airways!
We chatted for a minute and I gave him one of my FFOCUS cards (passenger/employee advocacy group for Airways), and he invited me to call him.....we'll just see if he takes the call..
On another note I finally had the pleasure of meeting LGA777 when I arrived at LGA--he was kind enough to take a few minutes and meet me when the flight came in!! Thanks, Ron, it was a pleasure to meet you!
I did, however, cancel my trip to GSO for our dinner with Deborah Thompson tonight--could not take the chance of not getting back tomorrow.
