The Weather channel said the sun would be out so I headed up to IGM. I only had the morning since it was championship day in the NFL. Well I got there at 8am and was met with nothing but clouds. :x I drove to my favorite spot and noticed they moved the TWA tristar (N15017, I think this regi has been reassigned) to the other end where the other one is (N31023) While I was driving I saw something new.



It was great to see, the regi is N870TV and is actually still valid.

While driving to another good spot I shot it from the other side. You can see the DHL 727s behind it.



I sat in the car and waited to see if the sun would come out, no luck. While waiting I shot the Kitty 722 (N901RF)



The sky was horrible so I headed for Route 66 to leave and saw they cleaned up around the EAL Jetstream fuselage I shot last year, so i took a quick one for the road.



the pictures are not good quality but at least you get the idea, enjoy.

Nahh, too dark. Just shot it for you guys, especially Fred. He would appreciate it. There is also a museum there. Going to take that in next time too.

I really liked the shot of the Eastern carcass. Did you get any of the TWA
for me? That is one that I can never get!

I hope you get some better light, a rent a car.... 2 days and a Tuscon trip
going soon. That should surely be the highlight of you adventure. I
never thought it was possible to get so close to the aircraft there. Did
you walk along the fence? and most important...can you share a few
more??? those were sweet!.

I got my car with me Fred. I am considering a drive down to PHX, so If I do that I will go down to Tuscon too. Right now I am planning a trip to Area 51 for early Feb so I am not sure. I am hoping for the sun this Thursday to return to IGM so I will get you more pictures.
