Earlier this week when a few of us were at JFK Eric snapped off an amazing sunset shot that he has up on JP.net. Besides this one Eric has probably taken the best JFK photos all year. Lets show him some props and nominate this amazing photo for Peoples Choice on JP.net. It is certainly more then worthy.

I'm curious as to where this sunset shot was taken from. I've not shot on the right side of 31R arrivals except in the very early morning.

    Great shot, Eric!

    Josh,

I think it was the same spot that we use for early morning shots. If the angles I'm thinking are the same, that would be perfect for sunset shots as well, as that area is where the sun would be setting.

    Thanks alot guys.

The spot the shot was taken from was North Woodmere Park. This time of year you should be able to get some good sunset shots for 31R arrivals. In the summer you can use the same spot for sunset shots for the 22's.

Wow, I hadn't thought of shooting evening arrivals from there, but I may just have to give it a try one of these days when the sky is cooperative. Again, that's a great pic, Eric.

hahaha, Phil I saw the same thing and realized I was still logged in your screen name. I got out of it and then logged in under my name and finally saw the people choice link.

You got my vote Eric, truly stunning picture. Good eye, Tommy.
