American Airlines is giving up its landing slots at LGB come the spring. Jet Blue will be getting 3 of the 5 they had to give up to AA when they started service. The other 2 slots are not spoken for yet. No decision on what JB will do with the 3 extra slots. Maybe BOS???

Part of AA's domestic cuts I guess. They've been giving back California a little bit ever since they took over Air Cal and Reno years and years ago. Long Beach is becoming Jet Blue's own private airport. I'd bet money to see BOS, EWR, or FLL come on line from LGB.

they already serve BOs and FLL, EWR sounds good to give CO and little compotition. maybe some more srevice to LAS or even maybe to the middle of the country, New Orleans, Austin (when they start service),Denver, Salt Lake, or north to SEA? who knows ????
