Yeah, I remember seeing them flying around as well back in the day. I also remember seeing the occasional F-14 out east - a real treat!

I would love to know when they are leaving. If it's some time Wednesday, I might have to juggle my schedule to get out there.

It looked they were going to leave around dark tonight, 29 Nov. They had their flight gear on the tarmac and there was another military, twin engine plane taking off at 4:30. So they probably weren't too far behind.

I swung by after work (7:30 or so) and they were still there, looking buttoned up for the night. I'll probably swing by on the way in to work in the morning and see if they're still around.

Those are much better than mine, 10 min after I left the house today, my Camera arrived from Cannon Repair! I had to use a 4MP Olympus with 3X zoom.....like I said, those were much better!

OK, just got back,. I took some photos last night at 8 PM and then this morning, at 840 I swung by.

One nice gentleman advised me they are leaving today (wednesday) around 1130. They are here so that the new generation of northrop grumman engineers, all computer genration types who have no real hands on, could see the planes and touch and feel their product.

    pretty cool eh?! :)

wonder how long this trip was planned, someone had to truck in a ground power cart for them. anyone know where the closest active NAVY installation to FRG is? hope nobody says NAS Calverton...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I stopped by this morning to check them out, Mario we must have justed missed each other by like a min. I didn't bring the camera since it was so crappy out. Very cool looking planes, didn't realize how big they were.

aw man. I looked at my watch at 9.02 then stayed another ten minutes before leaveing.

as I left, a bunch of students from wilson tech came to look and were rampside. so if you saw them, yep, we missed each other by minutes :)
