we were departing and landing 4 all day long today, but i did notice a few movements when was able to lift my eyes from my laptop's monitor...

AA brought the retrojet and one winglet-equipped 738, DL had it's pink (former) song in today and CO departed a 752 to EWR as i was walking out at the end of the night:

that must be a flt number they use for ferries, if you look down the list the flt operate from EWR to WRi on 772 only a few nights ago, with another such flight from HOP to EWR also on a 772. does CO do military charters? when the US activates the civil reserve air fleet what flight numbers and callsigns do those flights use? are they the carrier's callsigns or is it somethign else?

the wri flight was a ferry, they came back a few hours later and then continued on to kwi. the 1900-1940 is charters i believe. they use the callsign "Reach xxxx" when they depart, which is military aircraft command

the only noteworthy departure today was N367G, and unfortunately we aren't able to track that aircraft.

Okay it's been a month since this thread was updated so here is today's update. HISS SRQ was visiting me today at work and we both spotted this very rare visitor on final !

And the tail was displaying the SEA Seahawks logo, It departed about an hour later on 13 very, very light, the gear was all tucked away when he passed our tower.

Also for the third night this week AC sent down a 767 due to delays at LGA. Never got a reg but the last two where NC and Sunday night was old.

FYI there should be a Miami Air charter in to LGA next Tuesday, around noon from KCOS or KDEN to KLGA. Arrival time is scheduled to be 1235PM, but on flights from here to the East Coast, the trend is generally to arrive early due to the West-East flow of the Jetstream...

For Sunday 11-19-06 N610DL the Pink DL 757 arrived around 1400, left around 1500 and arrived again around 2100. The Allegheny A-319 N745VJ also made two appearances and is on the Shuttle for the next few days.

Tuesday Nov 21st as I arrived at in the employee parking lot my favorite BBJ, N888TY had just arrived so I parked near it and waked over to the fence for a look. First time since her repaint and re-reg I have seen her with the airstairs down and was impressed to see they are painted Burgundy to match the fuselage, most impressive. Moments later a winglit equipped Miami Air 738 arrived on the ramp and parked next to Trump, I was later told 5 or 6 buses where seen next to it so I am guessing a band or something for the Macy's parade. The Miami Air departed later but Triple Eight Tango Yankee remainded.

    Cheers

Triple 8 remains as of today. Any idea what that fairing houses on the top of the tail? It makes it look wicked cool

Wednesday Nov 22nd is traditionally one of the busiest travel days of the year but it was also a pretty good day for large corporate traffic.
737-200 N370BC (which I have never seen at LGA before)

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5838864

arrived from her Addison, Texas base and departed a few hours later for PBI,

    http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N370BC

but the dark, dreary day made photography out of the question for me.

Ironically VP-BDJ departed about an hour or so later, also for PBI

    http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VPBDJ

Another regular visitor arrived around 1400, 727-212 N31TR

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5807812.

Briefly the three above aircraft plus BBJ N888TY (which arrived Tues ) occupied the 5 Towers ramp simultaneously, way cool I think !

    Cheers

I missed that all today save for triple 8 and Victor Papa. Sorry I missed ya at work today by the way I was exhausted. Speaking of special visitors does anyone else know of an American 738W that has a special sticker on the fuse. just ahead of thr American titles?
