    Northwest activity at SWF, why?

In the last two days when I checked Flytecomme each day came up with a Northwest flight.

On Friday the flight was from EWR on the B757-200 and today the flight was on a B757-200 but from DFW.

Any idea what, probably the same B757-200, has been doing at SWF? Probably a charter?

Today's flight number was 9999, some what similar to Fridays.

    Thanks for the help!

I would go out to take some photos but I am swamped in homework

Gotcha, any idea why on Friday a NWA B757-200 was ferried to SWF from EWR, and today why a NWA B757-200 was ferried from DFW to SWF?

they could have very well been positioning flights for charters. any idea what the outbound flight numbers were?

for the record, like everybody says flights in the 9000's are ferries except for UA which operated live flights with those numbers. flights in the 8000's are usually charters across the board.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

SWF stands for Stewart War Field, but it is actually Stewart International Airport located in Newburgh, New York.

    Current airlines serving:

    American Eagle to ORD
    Us Airways Express to PHL
    Northwest Express to DTW
Independence to IAD (soon to end)

    Airlines that have left:

    TMA
    Pan Am
    American Airlines
    TWA Express
    Delta
    Comair
    United Express
    Southeast
    Air Tran

The air-guard is also based there, they keep 11 C-5s there and some C-130s, F-16s, and KC-135s.
