Thai MD-11 coming into SWF!

Just saw that the Thai MD-11 that was in JFK and then flew to Jacksonville is making its way to SWF. It looks like it will be arriving at 6:28 P.M., I am not sure of the departure.

Well that Thai MD-11 never came. But I did see a Algerian Air Force IL-76, a Trans Meridian MD-83, a Republic of Ecuitorial Guinea B737-700, and a US Airways Express Dash-8. Also the ex KLM B747-200 which was owned by Southern Air Transport is now gone, unless it is the all white B747-200 sitting with the burnt Fed Ex DC-10.

The all white 747 sitting with the burned out FedEx is F-GCBA.

You can get round to that area to see anything parked in that area. When you come into the airport via the main entrance, there is a small sign that says MCC receiving. This will take you around the back to a crash gate, but there is plenty room before the gate to get good shots.

The Thai is now on its way into SWF. It should arrive at 5:40 P.M.

I really wish I could go out to see it, but unfortunatley I have too much homework!! :cry:

I presume anything headed to SWF is staying the duration of the meeting?

Thinking of taking a ride up there on Wednesday.

It might still be there on Wednesday, on FlyteComm it does not show a departure for the MD-11. It was in the US for a refugee flight. I wish that it would park here:



Because then I could get an amazing photo! I bet it is parked down where the AN-124s park and the IL-76 was parked yesterday.

Sadly I have school and after school tommarow I have soccer and then on Wednesday I have piano and then on Thursday I have soccer again. I hope it will stay till Friday!!! :mrgreen:
