I agree, GREAT SHOTS Senga and Eric ! I have a favor for Senga, I only have access to the FlyteComm.com flight tracker and although Tuesdays IL-62's where on their a lot of Senga's traffic is not. Senga during this special U.N. session could you just keep and eye on LGA as sometimes we get lucky and one of the smaller foreign government aircraft do come to LGA and there are a few of us that would enjoy catching whatever might come here.

    Thanks

    LGA,

Did you catch the Spanish Government A310 that came into LGA in the past year?

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    Iberia,
I shot the IL-62 from the road south of 13L. I like to get background in some of my shots.

    Ron,
Yea I'll post if something shows on that heading to LGA. I would imaging it would be mainly business jets and the like but you never know.

Great shots guys! I love seeing those guys.

Wondering if anyone caught video? In other words, got the sounds in action too?

    Beautiful aircraft, arent they?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    Hi Mirrodie,
Sorry no sound. Ad always those IL-62s are awsome to listen to. The wine of the IL-62 is almost as awsome as the IL-76! It sounds eirie like the Concorde did becase the engines are so close together.

I know this photo has nothing to do with NYC area airports but it is a very cool IL-62 shot uploaded today and after all how often do we get to see a photo of a North Korean Airliner. Have a look, very, very cool photo !

The IL-62's are now showing 1350 and 1648 ETA's, both departing shortly thereafter to Dover AFB in Delaware !

Maybe one could be the Ukraine gov't? Maybe the other one is the Gambia new Millennium? :) That's one I'd love to get.
hoping for the end of the plain plane
