    new usairways colors

all in all, it was worth dragging myself out of bed at 0430 this morning to make an 0630 flight. thanks to CJ for the help.

    in my opinion, it's great![/img]
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Nice shot! What was it like being there this morning? That's pretty cool that your LGA badge gets you out on the ramp in PHL.

How'd you edit the pic so fast?

Nice shot Matt. Was nice to see you guys down there. Hope the flight back went well, the drive wasn't so bad.

Glad the plane was still clean when I got down there to shoot it. Our shots look similar.

I really like it, I hope to cath it at LGA someday.

I think that the A330-300 would look great in these colors!

Will America West use this livery as well?

Josh, our LGA Badge does not get us out on the ramp in other airports that easily but this morning we knew someone that "did the right thing".

Mike, nice seeing you also, really like the Parker/Lakefield shot, that's a classic.

There is a possibility this aircraft could be in LGA (MAYBE) in the next few days, I will check the routing's when I get in Wednesday at 1300. If anyone wants to see this aircraft in a bad way then check this thread at least twice a day for the next few days. I will up date it here, but with some things maybe in the works it might be on a half day or even few hours notice.

If you like the livery then great (I don't love it but I like it) but if you don't that's cool but then wait to see it person especially in nice light like we had this morning in PHL, it looks much better in person than in the photo's

I can't wait to see the Piedmont Retro Jet, that will totally ROCK !!!!!

Thanks! Glad you liked that one.

After leaving you guys, I headed over to the other side of the airport for the departure shot. Well, I missed it by a few minutes :( but i did get a takeoff shot of that AA MD80 with "Working Together" and a UPS MD11 before I headed home so it was worth the drive over there.

Mike when we took off and made the 180 turn to the east (airbourne at about 0915) we got a great view of PHL, got some great airport overview shots, there where two UPS MD-11's in line for takeoff (I see them in my photo's)
that appeared to have only two US aircraft in between them in line so I hope you got both. Nice bonus for the drive down.

Ron, looking forward to those overview shots of PHL. Yeah, I got one of the UPS MD-11's but left to look for Paul before the other took off.

Hey, congrats on making one of the Top 2 of Yesterday on Jetphotos..nice work!

Great shots guys, but I'm disappointed by the livery. And how/why did they bring Mickey Mantle back to life?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
