Sky is an old old friend of mine. W would always talk guns and after several years, I learn one day that not only does he like photography, but that he knows Mike Nowak, another aviation photographer that you guys might know, in California. Small world.
I think this is a great lens for people starting off who need the distance of 400mm but don't feel like dropping $1,500 on a Canon L series.
