LGA is still departing 13, after the Thunderstorm passed some departures where making a hard left turn over Phil D's house right after departure. During the storm quite a few go-arounds on 22 due to wind sheer and microbursts on final, gusts to 60, scarey stuff !

Game ended about 1755 lcl Yankess won expect about a 2000 departure.

Well the 727 with the Texas Rangers onboard made a nice long and loud departure off Rwy 31 at 2335 Lcl, after a horrible weather/ATC night at LGA, she departed behind Frontier to DEN who was running about 6 hours late and behind the 727 was US 173 to PIT only 5 1/2 hours late. I think the weather magnified the sound effects, the 727 was so loud, I said to Matt C as she took off, "now that's the way an airplane is supposed to sound", she used about 6000 feet of runway to get airbourne for the long flight to CLE !
