You should post some kind of argument for/against it.

The latest trend is schools simply following the calendar year and taking three two week breaks and one three week break during the normal calendar year. I'm not totally sure what the point is, but I guess it aligns the school. Anyway if your school has A/C then who cares.
I think they plan their year and breaks around a schedule that saves them in energy costs. Cutting a week from winter to avoid heating the school and adding a week to the summer can save lots of money apparently.

Starting in September isn't bad. However, starting in August sucks!
school really sucks because i only get three minutes to get to and from each class
i timed how long it gets me from my first period to my second period i takes me 3:50 to get there and on the 4th day of school i get my disclipine card which is called the cat card signed because of that because of it my teacher she said either your ontime or i sign your cat card and the little sixth graders hold us up!!!
My Dad went to talk to my a.p about it and they say some 8th graders are to chatty and you have enough time to make it i walk at normal speed
