Posting and Linking of/to Inappropriate and Sexual Material

NYCAviation does not endorse nor does it condone any racist, sexual or inappropriate material, nor does it take any responsibility for any such material posted by individual users.

To ensure and maintain a welcoming environment, it is the responsibility of everyone, from NYCAviation staff, to individual users, to ensure posted material remains suitable for people of all ages, genders and races and that offensive material be reported as soon as possible so that it may be removed.

We have received several questions and concerns asking what material is deemed as inappropriate and sexual. In order to better clarify this, NYCAviation has set forth several guidelines for posting. These guidelines will be strictly adhered to, and failure to obey the guidelines will be dealt with by NYCAviation staff on a case-by-case basis.

Below are the guidelines regarding the posting and linking of/to Inappropriate and Sexual material:


- Any post conveying racist or hateful sentiments, whether written or understood, will be deleted immediately.

- The posting of sexual material will not be tolerated (this includes posting pictures of sexual material). If the subject matter in the thread deals with sexual material, the poster may include a Link to a picture, with a disclaimer written in bold directly before the link. If linked material is deemed to be too sexual in nature, these posts may be deleted. This will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.


In other words, use common sense when posting sensitive material. Racist, and hateful material, whether linked or not, will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with pretty harshly.
Sexual material will only be allowed to be linked to if it better helps "illustrate" the subject (an example of this is the Pam Anderson photo). Just because there is a disclaimer before any link, does not mean it will be allowed to stay. Just look out for yourself and for one another, and if you see something that is inappropriate or sexual in nature let us know so that we can get rid of it.
