    Fourth of July? F@&K Macy's!

For the past few years, my friends and I have been putting on some Independence Day festivities on a major street in far eastern Queens. Until a couple of years ago it was fun for us, but not much fun for onlookers, but that all changed 3 years ago when we found a new place to obtain supplies. Since then our crowds have increased from about 20, to about 50 mostly little kids last year, to over 100 adults and kids, many with cameras, this Fourth. It's really a good time and the crowds cheering makes it all worthwhile...

Here are some video clips of the show...
    Grucci "Broadway" shell
    Bangin!
    More Bangs!
    Finale

All are .avi files. Be sure to set your video player to at least double size, and turn up your speakers for best effect.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Ahh, gotta love 500-gram cakes. Funny thing is me and you have probably been going to the same place. :D
I remember when the sky of eastern Queens used to be lit up every 4th of July. Practically every block was closed off for a block party, with everyone blowing off 3"+ up sized mortars along with everything else you could imagine. Not anymore, this was quite a few years ago. Atleast everyone in Suffolk knows a 4th without your own fireworks ain't a 4th of July.

The only thing I don't like about Giuliani was his stance on fireworks.
