as some of you may know, AC is going to begin flying the EMB-175 to LGA this august. they are going to have 5 daily flights, weeksdays only i think. not sure on the weekends though. will haev the schedule up as soon as i can pick it up from my source at AC.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I spoke to AC LGA ops this afternoon to see of they knew of any 175 flights prior to Aug 1st. The gentleman I spoke with
said it would be here Saturday but was not sure what flight. Nothing is showing in Sabre availability so if it happens it
will probably be an equipment sub. I am leaving Thursday morning for AI2005 so I will be out of the loop. Please do not
spend all day Saturday at LGA and be upset with me if it does not show up as these things can change. Perhaps
someone at home can watch the flight trackers and report any inbound sighting to anyone at LGA,. My guess is it
would probably be on the YUL side.

    That's a real pretty bird.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Ron, thanks for the heads up. I am sure Senga or one of his clones will know early that morning which flight this will be operating as, if any.

Sounds like AC is really revamping their LGA ops between the E175's and the CRJ 705's. Sounds like fewer and fewer AC Airbus to LGA.

They sell biz J/C seats on it, config'd 1-2 vs 2-2 in the back.

    EMB-175 to LGA

Well she is finally here Wednesday morning July 27 replaced a 319 on AC700 from YYZ arrived about 0815A,
turning 705 back to YYZ at 0845. Air Canada ops says it will be back twice more, tentatively on AC 708 ETA 1237 and
AC 718 at 1739L. More info when I have it.

Well the AC 175 is on its way again operating delayed AC708 from YYZ.. It is showing about an hour late with an ETA of 1338L
but the first arrival was about 15 mins earlier than what showed in AC flifo which I can access due the
Star Alliance connection. The return Is AC 713 at 1330 to YYZ showing delayed to 1400L LGA is currently
    landing 22 and departing 13.

Well due to a large line of Thunderstorms between YYZ and LGA AC appears to have cancelled most of there
flights between the above cities for the rest of today so I don't think the 175 will make a third visit to LGA today. Bummer !

i did get some mediorce backlit shots in the haze this morning, will post on here late tonight or in the morning, going to
be a VERY LONG day for me.

I did confiirm that AC 700 this morning YYZ-LGA was the first E175 revenue flight ever for Air Canada
and as they are the first 175 operator that should make it the first E175 actual passenger carrying flight
in the WORLD !!! Kind of cool I'd say.

    Regards
