2 airports, 3 days, 9 bug bites (including one the size of Texas) and 1,669 shots. If there was anything so wrong yet so right, this has gotta be it.

Not many people shots from me, but Senga, Phil, and Tommy did an incredible job with those. Still want to see my flex shot, Tom!

Had a few nice S-Turns on Saturday, the DL 732 put on a show but this Saab certainly threw himself around to maintain separation so he didn't have to go around.

EuroNICE in for 31R...just the start of some incredible light.

The same incredible light that lit up this BA 744.

Then it started to get darker and brighter at the same time. How odd.

And the light finally faded with a last burst of fire-red...

Eric, the Varig 772 from Sunday was PP-VRI.

Come Sunday, we knew we'd been out WAY too long when we realized we could fleet the entire JetBlue fleet not once, but at least twice in one day.
    Beantown Blue at LGA:

Then passing gas again at JFK:

    Spot THIS, Brian Stevenson! :)

    Aussie Aussie Aussie...

    Oy Oy Oy!

    JAL arrived...

Then Senga, our favorite Public Enemy No. 1, coaxed us into staking out El Al Cargo for a few shots.

We were gone as quickly as we had arrived.

Then the extended weekend concluded with Air Tahiti Nui on Monday. Like Art said, she was almost the only heavy to pull off a right turn, and I'm happy I was able to catch it with Cheez-Doodle fingers.

So if this past weekend is anything to go by, the camera crews will have loads to shoot. To say "I had a blast" is a sore understatement. I'm burned and bitten, yeah, but I'm also really pumped and can't wait for the next meetup.

    I had a blast,
    Brian

    WoW. Amazing shots!
I think I'm gonna blew EWR and hit JFK instead. Where were those Air Tahiti shots taken from? WoW again!

Great shots guys. I was busy with the family on Sun/Mon so missed out. Nice shots of the TN A340, I was at the pool with the boys so skipped it :(

Did manage a few shots at EWR on Saturday. Highlight was the 2 Star Alliance jets and the AS B737-800 with winglets for me.

Oh, and Tommy...show the real pic of Futt :)

Looking forward to checking out all your shots on ANET/Jetphotos...

Wow, this is the second time I've missed out on the really big group get-together! :) It looks like you guys all had a great time. I'm glad to see that the weather was nice for the long weekend. I have been enjoying my vacation in Scottsdale and have only been doing a little spotting here and there. Tomorrow I'm heading over to DVT for an hour in a C-172, and then I'm heading over to PHX immediately with the hope that I can catch Southwest's Maryland One departing for HOU at 9:25am. I look forward to seeing all of you guys when I get back home...I'll definitely be around for all the filming in July.

Duuuuude! How did you score the great pics at EWR? I go there frequently but can't seem to find a real good spot. Just an OK spot. But I can tell by the pics that you've got a real good one.

    No way

Hey guys, I'm new to the site. It's pretty cool to see you guys hanging out getting together to enjoy some airplane spotting. The pics are fantastic! I really enjoy it myself but need some guidance as to where to go to get up close and personal and get a great view of incoming birds at JFK. I've only been to JFK once in the past several years. I'm a lot closer to EWR and go there a lot but I'm looking forward to getting to know JFK and meeting up with you guys. If anyone can help out a newbie that would be awesome. Thanks.
How can you say that? No way!

I think i do. After reading all of rod945's posts, it seems that this is some sort of spam computer robot. it has said nothing in regard to ariplanes or spotting, and it quotes random things. Its signature is composed of links to some sort of casino.

and if you really are a person rod945, I am sooo sorry, but please prove me wrong.

How does a spam robot sign itself up for a forum account?

I dont know exactly how, but I know it can happen. If you have a Yahoo email account, you know that when you sign up, you have to copy a few slightly scrambled letters and numbers from a picture. A computer program cant read these, so therefore it prevents such spam programs from operating under yahoo.
