and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Hey, I got a few of those too...none of Fred though :(

This bird, along with a 738 in standard Miami Air markings departed FRG within about 10 minutes of each other this afternoon.

Sorry you missed it Tommy. One day we'll have to tell you all about it :D

    Model: Canon EOS 30D
    Aperture: f/7.1
    ISO: 100
    Focal Length: 18mm (guess: 21mm in 35mm)
    Exposure Time: 20s (20/1)
Flash: Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
    Exposure Program: Manual
    Exposure Bias: 0
    ExposureMode: 1
    White Balance: auto
    ColorSpace: sRGB

Shot with the 18-55mm kit lens. I actually used the "Auto Color" function in Photoshop 7.0 to remove the yellow cast of the ramp lights.

Very nice, any reason for Aperture of f.7.1?

I was wondering what you were doing to keep that yellow tint off!

I wanted to make sure I had enough depth of field, but if I went any smaller, I would have been pushing past a 30 second exposure. I don't have a remote for the 30D yet, so I couldn't really get into bulb mode.

I really should figure out how to do eliminate the color cast manually...I guess if I shot in Raw it would be easier (or so I've been told) I really didn't have time to play with the white balance settings in the camera, that's something I need to play with as well.
