Saw the Islanders were heading to Buffalo for a pre-season game, so I headed out to catch their ride.
Amazing how much heat haze there was for October!

I thought the Islanders used Midway for their charters.
I know they used Miami Air last year, don't know about prior to that. They usually park down the south end (near Atlantic). I've seen Midway there in the past, parked at Sheltair overnight. I forget who was in town, but I remember it's routing matched the team that was in to play the Isles.Originally Posted by Gerard

Nice shots, looks like we were on opposite sides of the airport at the same time.

The Islanders used to use Midwest before they switched to Miami Air last year. When Midwest came in this past season they were carrying the St. Louis Blues.Originally Posted by moose135
Should be activity in FRG late tonight as after the Isles play in Buffalo tonight, both teams have to fly down to play at the Coliseum tomorrow night.
Nice shots! Yes, October shooting has been a bit disappointing this year. but should get better!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Yep, they both came in the other night with about 200ft ceiling about 5 minutes apart... They both came from the same airport too!
