    Thai 747-400 comes to JFK

Today Thai Airways flew in a 747-400 OLD COLORS WHOOHOO!. It was a VIP flight from EGGS-JFK-SWF. If anyone is interested it is still at SWF. I plan on going up there on Monday to get some more shots of it. Many of you know about my obsession with getting the Thai in old colors aftger the new colors rolled out on a new a/c that we see here. I am glad to be able to have some great shots of the old now.
I havent edited the set yet but here 2 I saw first.

Were these taken by Senga Butts or Senga Beta 2.0?

We should ship both of you off on a Royal Barge. Sheesh! :)

    Fantastic.

It was yet another unexpected treat to see this one. This summer is just affording so many opportunities.

Its funny also, this particular location with the fence we are forced to use from time to time.... this time the colors of the fence match the livery on the aircraft. :)

senga, why is the airplane in SWF? was it here one some diplomatic mission or something to that effect?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Does anyone know if the TG 747 will be back at JFK? I do like the old colors better, than the newer ones.

Greg, all The Thai 744 should be back at JFK within the next day or so i would think. When it shows up on the flight tracker I'll post it in the forum. You will only have ashort time to get the arrival as they file and take off in a shot time as the trip from SWF-JFK is very short. There wont be much lead time-bt you never know.

Ah, nice shots Senga. Didn't see this post until after I commented about it being parked there. Guess you already noticed that :)
