Wow, seeing this from Planeview back in the day is just insane. I only thought I'd ever see this in Photoshop edits:

That is just so insane. Now I'm really in dire need of seeing more of Ron's video from LGA. :) On that note, maybe you should go out and film the 764 arriving over Planeview one of these days before Delta stops the 764 service to LGA on 5/31.
Who knows...with the proliferation of those pesky RJs, maybe someday someone will look at one of our pictures and say "Wow...it's so insane to see a 737 landing at LGA!"
Josh
thats a great pic. I miss seeing the DL L1011's.
It's Delta Belle! Ship 728!
Yeah, DL's last L-1011.
Seriously, this might be the best photo upload to Anet from the local area for all year.

speaking of video, i'm trying to orchestrate renting a big-screen tv for a day or so, this way it'll be easier to watch ron's vids. sorry jersey guys, you'll have to drive into the city to see it all. no worries about parking though, plenty of room. i'll let you all know specifics when i have them.
oh yea, that is a great shot!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I have plenty of DL L-1011 at LGA video, just to wet your appetite, how
about seeing a DL 1011 land on 13 in moderate snow. Or a TWA 1011
doing S turns on final to 13. And for Josh from Arizona I do have a little
video of a Cactus 747 departing PHX. I hope that will
wet you guys appetite, just the tip of the iceburg !
Cheers
Ron
