    US 757 at LGA today

hey all, just got home from work. great news to share, US brought a 757 to LGA today. she was supposed to come in at around 2330, not sure on the departure time. sorry, she'll be gone by the morning...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

for more detailed info you'd have to ask ron peel. he was in ops late that night. i was down on the ramp dealing with one of our flights and a mainline A321 that needed to be repositioned to facilitate opening the gate for the 757. no, like i said earlier it was a diversion from PHL.

Any word on what caused the diversion?

i think the cause of the diversion yesterday was the cause of a two hour delay in one of our PHL flights; i.e. just x in PHL. i'm not sure on if it went to BDL, but my understanding was that it was not going to stay at LGA long. i don't know if we fly 757s to BDL on a regular basis, so it wouldn't make sense to send the airplane there. i'll see what i can find out at work today...
