Tracking Trump 727 Movements (Updated February 26)

I think Donald Trump's plane is one of the hardest to get a shot of in motion. He always seems to leave or come in under darkenss. Only Orn Peel, I think, has been able to get him in motion at LGA.

If you ever see this thread with "Updated: date" that emans I posted a newly registered flight plan for the Trump plane so we can all try to get it coming in or leaving.

I just got notified that VP-BDJ registered the following flight:

    Aircraft Type B721
    Owner/Operator Veteran Air

Flight Plan Received 2005-04-26 15:15:20 from New York
Departure LGA LA GUARDIA, NEW YORK NY
Destination DAY JAMES M COX DAYTON INTL, DAYTON OH
    Status Planned
    Planned Alt 24000 Feet
    Planned Speed 480 kts.
    Planned Dep 2005-04-26 17:15
    Actual Dep
    Planned Arrival 2005-04-26 18:33
    Route LGA..ELIOT.J80.KIPPI.J80.AIR..APE.V12.MECAN..DAY/0118
    Tracking ID 52101101

Oh boy. I'm gonna have to try for this. 5:15pm, but we have cloudy skies. I hope 13 departues holds up.

Went down to the airport and didn't even see Trump's plane there, but the flight tracker says it hasn't departed yet.

More frustration added to the curse!

How close do you live to LGA? I live about 30 min away out in Huntington. I wish I was able to just hop over to the airport!

I walk two blocks and I overlook the airport from the opposite side of Flushing Bay, where I got my avatar photo from.

the last time that ron told me the plane was going to be moving the pilots had to return to the ramp. they said something about the brakes not feeling right but who knows what it could have been.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I hope someone went to LGA and nailed the arrival of Trump's 727, or went to JFK and nailed the departure. So rare to hear of it moving in the daytime...

Not sure how often Trump Jet usually moves, but the next season of The Apprentice is filming now (and has been for the past couple weeks) so it might be flying around a bit more for the show.

I have not seen the Don fly in a while but this afternoon (Tues 6-7) VP-BDJ departed 31 at LGA
around 1545. Since the flight tracker I use does not show this one maybe Phil D can check and
    see where he is headed.

    Tracking Trump 727 Movements

I have photos of his plane at LGA just sitting there during the day, never got the plane moving around yet. I guess I have to come at night.

It registered a flight to SWF, the flight you saw....and was supposed to return at 11:00pm. Not sure why it came back early though.

i was driving through the post down by AA on saturday and heard some engines running from the E ramp. it must have been trump's 727, but i didn't have the time to go over to the other side to check it out. there were about 2 gulfstreams and a handful of other airplanes on the rmap, none that could ahve been nearly as loud as the 727.

maybe the pilots just wanted to stay current so they took a shoort hop in the airplane. you have to do three daytime and three nightime landings every 90 days to stay current on any type of airplane.
